Stolen van set alight at Lockleys

About 3.30am today (Thursday, 6 June), police and MFS crews were called to Kingswood Crescent at Lockleys, after reports that a Toyota Hiace van was on fire near a football oval.

The blaze was extinguished by fire crews before it caused any further damage to nearby buildings.

The Toyota had been stolen from an address in Galway Avenue at Broadview during the night.
