Suspicious fire at Mile End

Just after 6.30am today (Saturday 22 March), police and MFS crews were called to Hughes Street after reports of a fire in the front yard of a house.

Residents of the property were evacuated and there were no reports of any injuries.

Police believe the fire may have been deliberately lit and any witnesses are asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
