Five teenagers were arrested after a break-in and theft from a vehicle at Grange overnight.
Police were called to an address on Seaview Road, Grange about 3.45am on Monday 28 April after five males allegedly entered the home through an unlocked door. When confronted by the homeowner, the group ran off.
Police cordoned off the area and apprehended five suspects, some in the vicinity of Grange Jetty and others after a short foot chase through the sand dunes.
Investigations revealed the group had interfered with a vehicle at the neighbouring address and stolen a laptop from the car.
The teens, aged 15, 15, 16, 16 and 19, were all arrested and charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass, theft and illegal interference.
A 15-year-old boy from Mansfield Park and the 19-year-old man from Salisbury North were refused police bail and will appear in the Port Adelaide Youth and Magistrates Courts today.
The other three were bailed to 26 June.
