Three arrested after getting closer to the Edge

Just after 3am today (Wednesday 29 January), police were called to a house in Carlton Parade after residents heard noises coming from the carport of their home.

One of the victims saw three people running out of the carport and into the street.

Nothing was stolen from the property.

Patrols were quickly on scene and located the suspects with the assistance of Police Dog Edge.

Two 17-year-old boys, one from Hilton and the other from Davenport and a 16-year-old Hilton girl were charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and going equipped.

They were bailed to appear in court at a later date.
