Trio arrested after cafe break in at Alberton

Three people have been arrested after a café was broken into at Alberton last night.

Just before 10.15pm on Tuesday 21 January a witness reported that a business was being broken into on Sussex Street and the offenders had fled the scene.

The witness was able to provide a description of the offenders and patrols were quickly on scene locating the trio on Torrens Road where they were arrested.

A 16 -year-old boy, a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man have been charged with serious criminal trespass and theft.

The 16-year- old did not apply for bail and will face the Adelaide Youth Court today (Wednesday 22 January).

The 17-year-old girl has been bailed to attend the Port Adelaide Youth Court on 17 April.

The 18 -year-old was bailed to the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on 4 March.
