Woman arrested after Exeter assault

It will be alleged that about 11am today, police were called to a house in Woolnough Road after reports that a woman had been hit in the head with a stick.

She suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

The suspect, a 30-year-old Ceduna woman was arrested and charged with aggravated assault, carry offensive weapon, property damage, trespass and refuse name and address.

She was refused bail and will appear in court later today.
