Break-in at Solomontown

Sometime between Sunday 5 January and Monday 6 January unknown persons have broken into a house on Haslam Road and stole items from inside a safe.

One of the items was a firearm used in a shooting incident at Gulfview Heights on 30 January.

The firearm has since been recovered and four people were arrested over the incident.

Six other firearms were stolen during the break-in and are still outstanding.
