Drink driver blows 0.094 at Oodla Wirra

A drink driver lost his licence for six months after being stopped on the Barrier Highway yesterday.

About 5.30pm on Sunday 16 March, police stopped a ute on the Barrier Highway, Oodla Wirra.

The driver, a 66-year-old Kangaroo Island man, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.094.

He was issued with a six-month instant loss of licence and reported for drink driving and driving while disqualified.

He will be summonsed to appear in the Peterborough Magistrates Court at a later date.
