Drink-driver caught at Crystal Brook

It will be alleged that about 4.32pm on Saturday 26 October, police stopped a white Toyota sedan on the Augusta Highway at Crystal Brook after the vehicle was detected travelling at 118km/h in a 110km/h zone.

The driver, a 26-year-old man from Elizabeth South underwent a breath test and returned a positive result of 0.083.

He was reported for exceeding the speed limit and drink-driving, he was issued a six-month immediate loss of licence notice and will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
