A man has had his car impounded after being caught drink driving at Wallaroo last night.
At 7.30pm on Wednesday 12 February, Kadina Police received reports of a possible drink driver in a silver Audi driving around the Wallaroo foreshore.
Police responded and located the vehicle on Hughes Street. The driver was submitted to a breath test and allegedly produced a blood alcohol reading of 0.166, more than three times the legal limit for a fully licensed driver.
The driver, a 57-year-old male of Wallaroo, was reported for drink driving and driving with a disqualified licence. His licence was further disqualified for 12 months, and his car was impounded for 28 days. He will receive a summons to appear in court at a later date in relation to this matter.
