A man was arrested after allegedly stabbing another man at Wallaroo overnight.
Police were called to a licensed premises on Owen Terrace, Wallaroo about 1.45am on Saturday 16 November by reports of a serious assault.
A 34-year-old Mount Barker man had sustained a stab wound to the head. He was taken to the local hospital before being airlifted to Adelaide for treatment.
The alleged offender, a 37-year-old West Richmond man, was located and arrested by police a short time later.
He was charged with aggravated cause serious harm and has been refused police bail.
It is believed that the two men are known to each other, and this was not a random incident.
Kadina CIB detectives are investigating.
