A man has been arrested at Port Pirie after he allegedly stole copper from a business.
At 7.30am, Sunday 23 February police attended the business on Coombe Road after reports a man was seen to break into the property and steal cooper.
Following enquiries police attended at a Port Pirie West address and arrested a 51-year-old man.
A search of the address located copper suspected to be stolen from the business.
He has been charged with theft, unlawfully on premises, and going equipped. He has been refused bail and will appear before the Port Pirie Magistrates Court tomorrow (Monday 24 February).
