Man reported over Kapunda burnout

A man will appear in court after he was caught doing a burnout in Kapunda.

It will be alleged that about 6.37pm on Tuesday 31 December, a red Holden Commodore sedan was recorded on video performing a burnout at the intersection of East Terrace and Perry Road, while multiple people were present on the road filming the event.

Enquiries were conducted with the registered owner of the vehicle, which resulted in the driver/owner, a 35-year-old local man being reported for misuse of a motor vehicle, driving in a manner dangerous, breach of bail and driving while disqualified.

He will be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.

Police are taking steps to locate the sedan so it can be impounded.
