Two youths have been arrested following a suspicious fire at a school in Port Pirie South yesterday.

Just after 3.30am on Monday 14 April, emergency services were called to a school on The Terrace at Port Pirie South after reports a building was on fire.

CFS crews were quickly on scene and contained the fire to a classroom building and an attached toilet block.

Fire technicians attended the scene to determine the cause of the fire.

Following an investigation, last night Detectives arrested two 15-year-old boys, one from Port Pirie South and the other from Solomontown and charged them with arson.  The teenagers were granted police bail to appear in Port Pirie Youth Court on 11 June.
