Suspicious fire Wallaroo

Just before 2am on Sunday 16 March, police and fire crews were alerted to a house fire on Daly Street.

The occupant reported smoke coming from the roof of the home.

When patrols arrived, they found a vacant adjoining property fully engulfed in flames. This property was destroyed by the fire while the adjoining home also sustained damage to the roof. Luckily no one was injured.

Fire Cause Investigators attended the scene early this morning to determine the cause of the fire.

At this time, police believe the fire to be suspicious.
