Our police work
The Band of the South Australia Police works with other areas across SAPOL to deliver police messages and build community relationships.
The band’s free performances are deployed to support police community engagement projects across a diverse range of audiences and age groups.
Our community work
The band partners with community organisations all over South Australia to support local events, help raise funds and bolster morale in difficult times.
Special performance
- The popular traditional jazz ensemble from the Band of the South Australia Police were providing entertainment and comfort to people in isolation during COVID-19 restrictions. Recorded live in the Thebarton Barracks rehearsal room, the group released a 45-minute performance that includes crowd favourites Hello Dolly, Bourbon Street Parade, Rainbow Connection and Blueberry Hill – all infused with their special brand of humour.
