Description | People of all ages will be jingling all the way to the Adelaide Town Hall on the evening of Thursday, 19 December as the iconic Band of the South Australia Police presents their annual Christmas concert The 32-piece Concert Band promises a program filled with classic Christmas carols and an assortment of festive hits. The Band’s smaller ensembles and vocalists will also bring some joy to the world of the full house who will be encouraged to sing along to their favourites. Tickets are reasonably priced with ADULTS $33.00 / CONCESSION $28.00 / STUDENT 16+ $22.00 / U16 $17.00 / GROUPS 10+ $25.00. *tickets incur a 50c booking fee per ticket The Christmas concert is just one of several opportunities to see the Band in the lead-up to the festive season, with performances across the metropolitan and regional areas. On Sunday, 24 November the Band will be performing at the Glenelg Christmas Pageant from 10.30 am. Later in the day the Band will head to the hills for the Rockleigh Carols in the Bush, held near the Rockleigh Uniting Church from 5.30 pm. Starting the following weekend from December 1 SA’s country regions will receive some Christmas Spirit as part of a Country Arts SA Tour to Mount Gambier (1pm 1 December), Whyalla (11am, 4 December), Port Pirie (11am, 5 December, Remark (2pm, 6 December), followed by the Renmark Christmas Pageant starting at 6pm, and rounding out the tour in Victor Harbor at 1pm, 9 December.
