Call 000 to report a crime that:

  • is taking place
  • has just been committed.

South Australia Police

Call 131 444 to:

  • report a crime that has already happened
  • report traffic issues
  • ask about local security and safety issues.

Crime Stoppers

Call 1800 333 000 or make a report online if you have information about:

  • a crime
  • criminal activity
  • unsolved crime.

National Security Hotline

Contact the National Security Hotline if you see anything that looks suspicious. This could be:

  • unusual property or vehicle rentals
  • large purchases of fertiliser, chemicals or explosives
  • unusual videotaping or photographing of official buildings or critical infrastructure
  • abandoned or suspicious vehicles near public buildings or in busy public places
  • anything that appears unusual or out of place
  • unattended bags.

Call the National Security Hotline on 1800 123 400, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Calls are free from fixed phones.

Trained advisors will take your report then pass it on to the Australian police or security agencies for investigation.
